The Port of Goole, situated in the East of England, has good proximity to the major North European Ports of The Baltic, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Northern France. Goole is the UK's most inland port located 50 miles (80 kilometres) inland from the North Sea via the rivers Humber and Ouse. This can have the benefit of savings on road transportation costs versus those of sea-freight.
